— Mary Oliver
£90 per session
Sessions are 50 minutes and are held weekly, especially in the early stages of the work. Weekly sessions help to build the continuity and trust that makes meaningful change possible.
I offer a limited number of places at a reduced rate for people who would benefit from therapy but for whom my standard fee isn't manageable. If this applies to you, I'm happy to have a straightforward conversation about what's possible when we first speak.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can speak before committing to anything. It's a chance to talk about what's brought you here, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit.
Room 5, Courtyard House
Taylor's Yard, 170 Brick Lane
London E1 6RU
Taylor's Yard is just next door to Oceanic Leather Wear. When you arrive, please buzz Unit 5 on the entry phone to the left of the gate. Once inside, the entrance to Courtyard House will be on your left — there's a second entry phone there where you'll also need to buzz in.
Please aim to arrive on time — neither early nor late — as this helps ensure a smooth start to our work together.
Room 3
28 Hanbury Street
London E1 6QR
To gain access, press the arrow key and scroll to TTR Room 3. Once inside, go along the corridor and up the stairs to the first floor, then turn right at the top of the stairs and go through the door. Room 3 will be directly in front of you.
Please aim to arrive on time — neither early nor late — as this helps ensure a smooth start to our work together.
Online sessions take place over Zoom. We'll use the same link for every session — I'll share it with you before our first session. Please keep it somewhere you can easily find it. There's no need to create an account or download anything if you use the browser version.
Please find a private space where you won't be overheard or interrupted, with a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
As with in-person sessions, please aim to join on time.
Our initial assessment, like any future sessions, will last 50 minutes. During this first meeting, it will be helpful to explore what brings you to therapy at this point in your life, what you're hoping to gain from the process, and any personal background you feel might be relevant — such as your experiences growing up, family dynamics, relationships, or work. If you've had therapy before, I'd also be interested to hear about that.
This first session is a chance for us to get a sense of how we might work together and whether you feel comfortable moving forward.
I kindly ask that payment of my fee be made via bank transfer at least 48 hours before our meeting. I'll send you my payment details by email when we confirm our first session. Please use your name as the payment reference. I'm also happy to accept cash at the end of the session.
Please click on the download button below to access a pdf of my therapy agreement — please review before we meet. There's no need to make any commitment at this stage, but it's important that you're familiar with the terms, especially around confidentiality, missed or cancelled sessions, and data protection.
If you have any questions we can go through the agreement together in our first session. There's no need to sign it before we meet — it comes into effect only once we've begun working together.
